All the babies!

We went to Mike and Summer’s house for a Valentine’s party last Saturday. We thought we would make this “holiday” a fun one by getting everyone together! We all brought a dish for dinner and I was in charge of dessert. I made an ice cream sandwich dessert..I don’t know the real name for it! Here’s what you need:

19 ice cream sandwiches
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 jar hot fudge ice cream topping (use the squeezable bottle because it’s much easier)
1 butterfinger bar

Crush the butterfinger bar with a food processor. Arrange half of the ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 pan. Cover the sandwiches with half of the hot fudge (or as much as you want). Spread half of the whipped topping next and then sprinkle half of the crushed butterfinger. Repeat layers with remaining ice cream sandwiches, hot fudge, whipped topping and candy bar on top. Cover and freeze (I like to freeze overnight, but at least a couple of hours). Remove from the freezer a few minutes before serving. Cut into squares. Delicious! My camera is broken so I don’t have any pictures.

Summer and Mike had a full house. It was Summer and Mike, us, Amy and Nathan, Hillary and Corey, Kaybe and Bud and Haley. Plus all the babies…we were the only couple without a baby! Our parties have changed in the last few years! All the babies were great and Eva is such a little talker now and hilarious. She had Nick pushing her around in Josie’s car until he was tired. When I took over, she told me I was too slow!! Trentyn just slept through all the craziness and is so stinkin’ cute!! Here are a few pictures. Very good practice for the Jochums (or maybe good birth control!!)
