If you follow me on Twitter, you probably saw my sweet tea craving on Friday afternoon.
Look what Nick had waiting for me when I got home from work? Chick-fil-a sweet tea! I love that man. 🙂
We had an easy, relaxing weekend until the Super Bowl when we were both stressed out during the 4th quarter! What a great game- and of course us southerners love seeing a Manning win!
We had a movie date this weekend and rented Bad Teacher (hilarious) and Ides of March (I liked it, Nick hated it).
Now let’s catch up on the February photo challenge!
Day 4-a stranger
While I was doing a little shopping at the mall on Saturday, I spent a little time watching a Chinese New Year celebration. It was really cool! There were some young kids with swords that were amazing to watch. That’s one of the biggest differences in living here (DC/Maryland) versus Tennessee. There are so many different cultures and we have been exposed to tons of different backgrounds/people. It’s been a huge learning experience from growing up in Tennessee (me) and growing up in Idaho (Nick). Although we plan to raise our kids in the south, living here has made us want to provide our kids with these experiences. Hopefully we can travel a lot with them or maybe even spend some time abroad (another dream of mine!)
Day 5-10 a.m.
Sunday School. It took us a few months, but we finally found a church that we love up here and placed our membership last January.
Have a great Monday morning!
